Glow is an independent service based in Italy, and is the controller of your data. Questions or requests: zkhatri@jajk.org.
When you buy a Glow report you give us (1) one selfie, which is uploaded in your browser when you tap buy, and (2) your payment confirmation, handled through our checkout. That's it. We don't ask for your name or create an account.
Your selfie is processed automatically to create your result on screen: a skin read, an illustrative glow preview image, and a 3-step routine. Specifically, it is sent to one AI service — Anthropic (the Claude model writes your skin read). Your glow preview image is created entirely inside your own browser from your photo — it is never uploaded to, generated by, or hosted on any image service. Your selfie is used only to generate your result — we do not use it to identify or recognise you, we do not run facial recognition or biometric identification on it, and it is never sold or shared for advertising. Anthropic does not use data sent through its API to train its models.
We do not store your selfie on our own servers — it lives only inside the request that creates your result. Your glow preview image exists only on your own device (in your browser, and anywhere you choose to save or share it) — it is never uploaded or hosted anywhere by us. We keep records of the sale (never your photo) for as long as tax and accounting law requires.
We process your selfie only on your consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)), which you give by taking or uploading your photo and choosing to buy. Because the result is generated instantly and your photo isn't stored, the processing happens the moment you buy; you can ask us to delete anything still held by emailing zkhatri@jajk.org.
We process your order details and payment confirmation to deliver the service — this is needed to perform our contract with you (Art. 6(1)(b)) — and we keep sale records as tax and accounting law requires (Art. 6(1)(c)).
Two services help deliver Glow: Stripe handles payment (you'll see their receipt), and Anthropic (Claude) generates your skin read from your selfie. Your photo is shared with Anthropic only, and only to create your result — your glow preview image is made in your own browser and never leaves your device. We don't send your data to anyone else.
Glow is for adults aged 18 and over only. Please don't buy or send a photo if you're under 18, and don't send us a photo of anyone else.
Under EU/EEA and UK data protection law you can ask us for a copy of what we hold, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict processing, and withdraw consent. Because we don't store your selfie on our servers and your glow preview never leaves your device, in most cases there's nothing left to retrieve. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
Glow is for fun and general skincare guidance only. It does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition, and it is not a substitute for a doctor or dermatologist. Individual skin is different and results vary.
